WORKSHOP ON GOOD GOVERNANCE WEEK: KIPHIRE

In the run-up to the Good Governance Day (25th Dec) and GG Week (19-24 Dec) and in pursuance to the directive of the Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pension, Government of India, a Workshop on Good Governance Week was held at DC’s Conference Hall, Kiphire on 21st December 2024.

DC Kiphire, Shri. Temsuwati Longkumer NCS addressed and welcomed the officers during the meeting-cum-workshop programme, and EAC Kiphire Zavito Ltu NCS Chaired the programme.
The Programme saw DHEW Coordinator Smti. Viliho Awomi spoke on women related schemes; Ms Yangtsapila Nodal Officer of CMHIS-PMJAY spoke on Insurance schemes; Shri Renthungo Assistant Supply Officer, Food & Civil Supplies Dept. on Ration schemes,; Shri Bendang Longkumer NCS Nodal Officer for ADP briefed the gathering on the status of the ADP; and EAC (Dev.) Shri Takatemjen Pongen NCS spoke on the different schemes and programmes of the Government (State and Centre) through power-point presentation during the workshop programme.

Shri Alumse, DPA (Education) Kiphire also gave a PowerPoint presentation on the development activities being undertaken by NECTAR Projects in the district. EAC Smti. Nitile Tep NCS, who is also the APIO presented on Grievances Redressal and RTI mechanism through PowerPoint.

The detailed presentations from Rural Development, Medical, School Education Departments and District Administration were followed by a Q&A session. A Draft District@100 Vision Document was approved for initial submission and it was agreed to further finalized it in the next DPDB Meeting. Shri Longdiba L Sangtam NCS, ADC Kiphire delivered the vote of thanks.
