KIPHIRE DISTRICT EXECUTIVE FORCE
The Kiphire Police Station was established on 19/03/82 under DEF Tuensang. Prior to establishment of Kiphire Police station this headquarter was manned by Police out post but there is no record of date of establishment. The Police Station was again upgraded for the rank of Inspector on 5/9/85.
With the increase of population and developmental activities in the area, it was felt necessary to look after this Sub-Division by a senior officer. Therefore, on 15/1/91 one Addl. SP Post was created without creating other additional post.
