Awareness and Sensitization Programme on Minority Schemes Held at Kiphire

KIPHIRE, MARCH 19, 2026: The Directorate of Minority Affairs, Nagaland, successfully conducted an Awareness and Sensitization Programme at the Hopongkyu Memorial Hall, Kiphire. The event aimed to educate the public and key stakeholders on various government schemes and initiatives designed for minority communities.

The programme was chaired by Sh. Neingulie Krome, Joint Secretary, Minority Affairs. The Deputy Commissioner of Kiphire, Shri Temsuwati Longkumer, delivered the welcome address, emphasizing the importance of ensuring that welfare schemes reach the grassroots level in the district.

The technical session featured detailed PowerPoint presentations on several critical departmental schemes:

  • Micro-credit Scheme under NMDFC: Presented by Sh. Khriezotuolie, Programme Assistant.

  • PM VIKAS: Presented by Sh. Thejavizo Rio, Asst. Project Officer.

  • Minority Scholarship & PMJVK Scheme: Presented by Sh. Andrew C. Imti (NCS), Joint Director, Minority Affairs.
