District Stakeholder Consultation for Viksit Nagaland @ 2047 Held at Kiphire

KIPHIRE, APRIL 15, 2026: The district administration successfully conducted a stakeholder consultation on Viksit Nagaland 2047 at the DPDB Hall, bringing together voices from government departments, civil society, NGOs, and the private sector.

Deputy Commissioner Shri Temsuwati Longkumer outlined the vision, emphasizing inclusive and future-ready development. The workshop aimed to deliberate, coordinate, and strategize the implementation of key proposals across five thematic pillars: Economic Development, Social Development, Environmental Sustainability, Infrastructure Development, and Governance and Institutional Strengthening
The session, moderated by Shri Takatemjen Pongen, featured a sectoral presentation by Er. Heoka Sumi, focusing on key pillars such as economy, society, environment, infrastructure, and governance. Participants engaged in group discussions, identifying achievements, gaps, and priorities, especially for remote communities.
The consultation concluded with a plenary sharing of recommendations and an open forum, marking the event as a meaningful step toward shaping a progressive and united future for Kiphire under the Viksit Nagaland 2047 vision.
