In view of the Government Notification No.GAB-I/COM/GEN-I/2020, Dated 16th March 2020 regarding the precautionary steps to prevent and control the outbreaks of Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19) in the state, the following measures are to be followed in Kiphire District with immediate effect:
- Public are advised to refrain from holding any social, cultural, sports, political, religious, academic, and family functions/programmes which may see gathering of a large number of people until further notice.
- All official gatherings such as seminars, workshops, conference etc. in Kiphire District are to be deferred till 12th April 2020 with immediate effect.
- All persons including students studying outside who have entered the state on or after 1st March 2020 from outside; are advised to contact helpline numbers 7005415243/9856071745/7005539653 or send email to nlssu.idsp@nic.in of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Nagaland for guidance and for getting themselves screened.
